We started Studio 6S after paying booth rent for years as hair stylists in the industry. We experienced the good and the bad. We saw that working stylists — the rock stars of salons — were not getting their fair share. Stylists work hard to perfect their craft and retain clientele and deserve to get paid for their time and effort. 

Most stylists manage their own hustle. They do all of the marketing, client outreach, and retention work on their own. They shouldn’t have to pay exorbitant fees to rent space. 

This is why we started Studio 6S. We believe that booth rent should be affordable. Salons should be supportive, not exploitative. The industry should be about rewarding stylists — not landlords.
